How to Play Thirteen Cards / TLMN:

At the start of each new game, every player is dealt 13 cards. The game begins with the player holding the Spade 3 card. The winner of the previous game initiates a round by playing a valid card set. Players then take turns playing higher card sets or choosing to “Pass” to skip their turn. Once a player passes, they are generally required to pass on subsequent turns. A round concludes when three of the four players pass, and the last player to act starts a new round with a valid card set. The game ends when one player successfully discards all their cards.
Legal Card Sets and Values:
Card sets can consist of the following types, with some considered special:
- Single: one card
- Pair: 2 cards of the same rank
- Triple: 3 cards of the same rank
- Quadruple: 4 cards of the same rank (a special card set)
- Series: 3 or more cards forming a consecutive sequence
- Double Series: 6 or more cards forming a consecutive sequence of pairs (a special card set)
The cards are ranked in ascending order as follows: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A, 2. A card of higher rank outranks a lower-ranked card. In case of cards with the same rank, the suit determines their value, with Spade ♠ being the highest, followed by Club ♣, Diamond ♦, and Heart ♥.
Card sets of the same type are compared based on the highest cards within the sets.
