In the beloved digital board game, players are tasked with harvesting resources to construct a woodland village.
From Everfrost to Bellsong, numerous tranquil years have passed in Everdell. However, the time has arrived for the colonization of new territories and the establishment of fresh cities.
Derived from the acclaimed board game by Tabletop Tycoon, Everdell offers a fantastical city-building experience that combines worker placement and strategic card play to facilitate the creation of a thriving civilization. Players must gather resources to construct imaginative Constructions and recruit vibrant Critters, all contributing to the prosperity of their city. Every card integrated into the city contributes to the player’s points, and as four seasons unfold, the city with the highest score emerges victorious.
Players can engage in cross-platform multiplayer games, competing against other founders, or test their strategic acumen through AI play and Solo Challenges.
During each turn, players have three options:
1.) Place a Worker: Dispatch one of their diligent workers to venture into the valley and gather essential resources such as Berries, Twigs, Resin, Pebbles, and Cards. All these resources are crucial for the growth of their nascent civilization.
2.) Play a Card: Their city can accommodate up to 15 Construction and Critter cards. These cards serve multiple purposes, generating resources, unlocking new abilities, and accumulating points to secure victory. Players must explore card combinations and synergies to outpace their adversaries.
3.) Prepare for the Next Season: As the seasons shift, workers return home to prepare for the forthcoming round. Players must plan their city carefully, as after four seasons, the Winter Moon reappears, signaling the end of the game.
Throughout the gameplay, there are buildings to erect, intriguing characters to encounter, and events to host, ensuring that players will have a bustling year ahead of them.
